Experience
Own backend services on a multi-tenant marketing platform serving 1,200+ global brands, spanning a high-throughput Go ingest pipeline and the full Shopify integration surface.
- Built and operate a Go event-ingest pipeline on NSQ processing 17 million events per day across all tenants, the entry point feeding downstream campaigns and analytics.
- Hardened the pipeline with at-least-once delivery, idempotent consumers, retry and dead-letter handling, and backpressure-aware consumer scaling, validated with integration, contract, and load tests.
- Designed and built the multi-tenant Shopify customer-sync service, isolating each brand through a shared-schema tenant_id model across 1,200+ tenants.
- Engineered a daily reconciliation job that raised Shopify-to-platform data accuracy from roughly 60% to 99.99%, surfacing sync drift before it reaches downstream campaigns.
- Delivered Shopify Markets support, unlocking commerce across 8 regions and currencies for global brands.
- Decomposed a multi-tenant Laravel monolith into maintainable services, ran it on AWS with Kubernetes and Terraform through CI/CD, and instrumented it with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and Sentry, contributing to incident response.
- Authored design documents and RFCs, set code-review standards, mentored and onboarded 5+ engineers, and serve part-time as Scrum Master for one team.
Sole engineer for client WWF Market (wwfmarket.com), the WWF Türkiye online store on Shopify Plus. Built the storefront and a custom returns system end to end.
- Built the entire Shopify Plus storefront theme from scratch in Liquid, with PageFly subpages for campaign and content landing.
- Developed a custom returns system (iade.wwfmarket.com) end to end, covering the customer return flow and the operational backend.
- Built a returns analytics admin surfacing return reasons and sizing issues to drive merchandising decisions.
- Integrated Klaviyo flows, segments, and transactional emails across the customer lifecycle.
- Automated marketing and operational campaigns with Shopify automation and Flow.
